Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries is currently seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for the Maritime Operations Team in Newport News, VA, supporting Newport News Shipbuilding Submarine Fleet Support in Newport News, VA. In this role, the selected candidate will work with the Submarine Fleet Support Program office managing program financial performance. This individual will need to have a demonstrated ability to organize and complete complex data analysis and will be working in SAP and Excel regularly as well as maintain key performance metrics and working with the project and program management team to communicate status and forecast the financial path ahead. Professionals in the Maritime Operations group support a wide variety of different functional areas in a matrixed assignment supporting Newport News Shipyard (NNS). As part of the HII Nuclear Maritime Operations group, our professionals have access to a rare and unique accelerated professional development program that is intended to prepare our employees for life-long success with our HII affiliates supporting national security at Department of Energy sites and contracts around the country. #LI-AK1 NEG MV EP What You Will Do Performs and analyzes financial modeling, economic research, trends and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, actual cost against budget, variance analysis, forecasting, and financial planning and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and/or income statements. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, compiles and consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management. Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, ad hoc reporting, and analysis. May provide analysis on business development and monitors business performance. What You Must Have 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field. Demonstrated ability to organize and complete complex data analysis Be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Bonus Points For SAP experience Strong Excel competency Strong problem solving skills Be flexible, hardworking, and collaborative Physical Requirements Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
