Feb 21, 2023 Technical writer responsible for writing, editing, formatting, reviewing and proofing the Command Media procedural document types using the Information Mapping technique for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of the Command Media Team; practice established documentation development and maintenance practices as set forth by the Command Media's System; arrange and classify multiple pieces of information effectively; understand information gathering, analysis, design, verification and management practices and apply them effectively; determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension; work with subject-matter experts and other groups to develop and maintain the documents conforming to the Command Media's analysis, organization and presentation standards in a timely manner; assist in analyzing the information required for the development or update of a policy, procedure, work instructions and supplemental instructions; assist subject matter experts in creating first drafts from process maps, outlines, and direct observation; assist with training the customers in the document development including the Command Media's System components, concepts, structure, formats and other knowledge needed to develop acceptable Command Media documents.

Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures.
Performs as a generalist a combination of administrative tasks in such functional areas as finance, human resources, purchasing, research and development.
May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required.
Administration Generalist 3 Command Media Central Office Member Implements the Information Mapping concepts and document development techniques for Command Media documents Trains and teaches the Document Development Techniques to customers Must be detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills Basic Qualifications 6 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree Preferred Qualifications 5
years of technical writing and editing experience with exemplary writing skills; In depth knowledge of Microsoft Word including use of tables, headers/footers, and review capabilities; Minimal knowledge of Microsoft Visio; Thorough knowledge of the English language including grammar, spelling, and usage; Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information effective, clearly and concisely to the customers; Ability to work under minimal supervision.
