Overview The Director of Maintenance is responsible for planning, directing, staffing and counseling employees in the areas of maintenance.
Maintain optimum working order of the facility as well as service areas in resident and general areas of the facility and grounds.
May perform other duties as assigned.
What you will do Ensures the facility/department is in compliance with applicable regulatory statutes, standards of care, job performance and competency standards.
Actively involved in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and resident rooms.
Provides effective human resources management to maximize employee and organizational performance.
Coordinates stock & supplies to ensure adequate inventory.
Ensures residents have adequate linen available by supervising the distribution and management of linen services.
Coordinate payroll functions to include time verification, sign off, payroll inquiries to minimize payroll adjustments.
Continuously improve the delivery and outcomes of comprehensive, quality, personalized patient/customer care economically and in accordance with patient safety standards, standards of excellence and the Riverside Code of Conduct.
Responsible for the orientation, assignment of work tasks, supervision, staffing and training of direct reports.
