Operations Tailgating Sports, LLC is looking for a motivated Operations Specialist to help build high quality cornhole products.
Sanding.
Operating router and assembling completed wood parts that are produced from a CNC machine.
As a Operations Specialist you're on the front line of our manufacturing operations for our brand CornholeAce.
The primary role we are currently hiring for is a cornhole board assembler.
Our manufacturing center is located in Newport News, VA.
Specialist Job Duties:
Primary responsibilities may include:
Assemble cornhole boards using power tools.
Sand, router, pocket hole, putty, and process various wooden parts as instructed to assemble cornhole boards/ products.
Handle materials in and out of the CNC area to ensure optimal CNC efficiency and to ensure other manufacturing stations have adequate parts.
Must be overly obsessive with quality and be able to pick out the slightest flaws in our products to ensure products with imperfections are appropriately separated from our products that meet our high quality standards.
Must have excellent organizational skills to ensure we keep our warehouse in an orderly fashion.
Must be capable of keeping track of supplies and notifying management which supplies need to be ordered to ensure we never run out.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 70 pounds Requires wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that applies to specific warehouse operations.
Requires activities involving being around moving machinery and exposure to dust and fumes.
(Proper ventilation equipment and PPE will be provided if required) Requires activities involving being exposed to isopropyl alcohol, UV inks, water based polyurethane, industrial lacquers, and other industrial chemicals.
(Proper ventilation equipment and PPE will be provided) Looking for a positive team player.
Position may lead to a full time position with benefits after 6 months.
Good time and attendance, performance and attitude will determine full time eligibility.
