The primary function of the Warehouse Coordinator is to support the plant's production goals by performing all warehouse duties, as to unloading or loading various material/products, verify all incoming items and documents and report damages or discrepancies.
Controls warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of product from warehouse to production and/or to shipping.
Duties:
Maintain warehouse area in an organized layout and safe work environment.
Responsible for ensuring that all warehouse functions are completed accurately and on time.
Ensure the accuracy of all shipping/receiving documents and maintaining all records relative to shipping/receiving activities.
Verify that shipping/receiving counts match picking/purchase order documents and assisting in resolving any discrepancies.
Picking orders to be shipped, ensure proper labels and paperwork have been applied before shipping.
Verify (recounting) orders received by others to ensure accuracy of incoming merchandise.
Utilizing material handling equipment, safely and efficiently, to transport product to shipping locations or delivery platforms and ensuring orders are staged in order of delivery.
Process requisitions for supplies; prepare various items for delivery and prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures.
Responsible for cycle and physical inventory counts as required.
Maintain a variety of records, files, reports, documents of stock and ordered supplies as necessary.
Skills/
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Minimum of 1 year of forklift driving experience.
Must possess basic computer skills, ability to relate to customers in a professional manner; and understand basic mathematics.
Ability to provide accurate entry of data and ability to handle administrative tasks as assigned.
Forklift experience preferred.
High level of energy and enthusiasm coupled with ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Ability to make decisions and is process driven.
Communicates well with all internal customers and is a team player.
