o Monitors, reviews, and manages Dell infrastructureo Manages user requestso Manages and reviews log fileso Generates regular operational reportsProblem Management:
o Isolates and troubleshoots incidentso Performs service incident coordinationo Opens service requests on behalf of the Customero Participates in root cause analysis reviewChange Management:
o Performs software/firmware management assistance and collaborationo Implements change management requestso Assists with solution documentation of policies and procedures in conjunction with the compliance manager(s) and with key stakeholderso Manages migration activities (monitor reports)Continual Service Improvement:
o Recommends procedure changes that result in operational optimizationo Shares best practices from other engagementso Provides performance tuning recommendationsPost Implementation Planning and Knowledge Sharing:
o Performs transition planning with deployment teamo Performs incremental host and network configuration beyond deployment scopeo Conducts knowledge transfer for recent technology features, management and admin activities, and Standard Operating Procedureso Provides recommendations on product enhancements and upgradeso Sets up initial reports on supported productso Implements Dell System Management Toolso Performs run-book updates (in conjunction with Customer Staff)Change Evaluation and Recommendations:
o Reviews IT processes and policies (Incident, capacity, performance and change management, user, and back up policy) - as part of new solution or continuous improvemento Assists with the solution documentation of policies and procedures in conjunction with the compliance manager(s) and with other key stakeholderso Conducts knowledge transfer to address the Customer's skills and resource gaps as well as technology recommendations.
