Med Tech / Medication Aide - Assisted Living/Memory Care (FT, PT, All Shifts)

OverviewWorks under the supervision of Nursing Supervisor/Manager and is ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing.
The CMT/CNA performs tasks essential to the direct care of the resident according to the facility policy and procedures and as allowed under the Scope of Practice as defined by the Department of Social Services for Assisted Living Facilities and the Department of Health for SNFs and NFs.
Responsibilities include, but is not limited to, medication administration, vitals, personal care and nutrition support.
What you will do Administers the medications and treatments, according to the scheduled times, following the medication administration protocol Maintains confidentiality of resident and fellow employee's information Assists with monthly medication records as needed Maintains the cleanliness, organization, and restocking of the Med room and Med cart Capable of taking accurate vital signs and weights Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or other management staff QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED, (Required)ExperienceLess than 1 year (Preferred)Licenses and Certifications Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - State Department of Health Professions Upon Hire(Required) First Aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required) and CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required) and VDH Medication Technician Certification (Required) #ZAAs a Riverside Health System team member, our benefits have you covered:
