Assists librarian by maintaining and enforcing library policies, managing library resources, and helping patrons obtain information they seek.
Manages interlibrary loan transactions.
Also, manages Serials.
What you will do Maintains positive communication with library customers, regarding access to library services throughout Riverside Health Systems hospitals/facilities.
Accurately uses the PCSM software and Circulation program to check materials in and out, enter patron data securely, and generate reports as necessary.

Demonstrates leadership and active promotion of customer service to students, faculty and staff.
Demonstrates responsiveness and flexibility to meet faculty and staff expectations.
Consistently exceeds customer expectations by anticipating their needs, implementing appropriate actions, initiating service recovery as needed to enhance the customer's experience.
Consistently utilizes appropriate tone and body language while interacting with customers and co-workers in writing and in person.
Oversees the safety and security of the library and its patrons during opening hours.
Secures the building (opening and closing) and responds to alarms, reports incidents, and contacts authorities in the event of an emergency.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
