The candidate will leverage prior law firm and in-house experience to create internal best practices on managing employee relations, compensation, litigation and compliance matters, oversee the work of outside counsel on employee relations cases, and advise on external agency matters and internal investigations. Serve as key legal advisor on all major employee relations matters. Manage the Employment Practices Group within the law department, including growing and developing talent. Conduct a proactive review of company policies, and update policies from time to time to remain current with state of the law. Represent the company before Federal and state agencies, including preparing position statements on employee relations inquiries and appearing at hearings on behalf of the company. Manage federal and state litigation, administrative proceedings and arbitrations involving employment law matters, including management of outside counsel, risk assessment, oversight of case discovery and case resolution. Develop, implement and manage employment law compliance initiatives in partnership with the human resources department and chief compliance officer. Participate in the definition and development of employee relations policies, procedures and programs and provide continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters and on legal implications on employee relations matters. Advise on legal issues surrounding union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations and arbitration of collective bargaining agreements and claims.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
