Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA is seeking a full time Production Manager to lead our team. The Production manager works under the direction of Food Service Director, plans, directs and evaluates the purchase, receiving, production and presentation of food for patients, cafes, and catering to ensure that standards of safety, quality and performance are maintained according to policy and regulatory agencies.
Education Requirements
B.S. Degree in Dietetics, Culinary Arts, Food Services, Management, or equivalent required.
Certification Requirements
ServSafe certification required within 3 months of employment.
Experience Requirements
3-5 years progressive food experience preferred. Two years experience as a Food Services Manager preferred. Knowledge of basic computer skills preferred. Previous working experience with the public required. Knowledge of State regulations, Joint Commission accreditation standards, RHS policies and procedures and Food Services policies and procedures preferred. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
