Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA is seeking a full time Manager Patient Services to lead our Nutrition Services Department. The Manager Patient Services provides management of the patient meal service to include oversight of the diet office, trayline staff and the host/hostess program for room service ensuring that safety and patient satisfaction goals are upheld. Coordinates menu development and functions as system administrator for the food service software.
Education Requirements
B.S. Degree in Dietetics, Culinary Arts, Food Services, Management, or equivalent required.
Certification Requirements
ServSafe certification required within 3 months of employment.
Experience Requirements
3-5 years progressive food experience preferred. Two years experience as a Food Services Manager preferred. Knowledge of basic computer skills preferred. Previous working experience with the public required. Knowledge of State regulations, Joint Commission accreditation standards, RHS policies and procedures and Food Services policies and procedures preferred. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
