Riverside Regional Medical Center is recruiting for a Labor Pool Registration Representative. The position works under the department Supervisor / Managers and Director. Effectively utilizes all department specific computer and telephone systems. Responsible for registration of all patient types and status'', having full understanding of the requirements for in the RHS Charity program and self pay processes, network / out of network, authorizations vs. no authorizations, Medical Necessity, providing quotes, calculating patient payments, electronically posting patient payments; identifying issues and reporting trends. Acts as a liason between the Patient Access office and all other departments and insurance companies providing consistent, detailed and relevant detail on issues and trends. Must demonstrate strong problem solving skills, high attention to detail and an aptitude for learning. Promotes teamwork and customer service by demonstrating positive interpersonal relations.
Education: High school graduate, GED required or higher advanced collegiate preparation preferred.
License: CHAA or CHAM certification preferred or obtained within 2 years of employment.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of related experience in the field of healthcare and customer service is preferred.
Hours: Flexible Labor Pool Position to include every Friday 11:00pm-7:30am, weekends and 3rd shift.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
