# External Job Description
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
# Preferred Qualifications
The following responsibilities are applicable:
Ability to review C+
programming.
Experience with PLCs
Works with vendors, application developers, database administrators, and other technology groups to resolve any technical issues.
Ensures all standards, processes & procedures within the AoR meet contract/organizational requirements.
Ensures activities within the AoR are conducted in accordance with organizational standards, processes, and procedures.
Ensures documentation & products produced within the AoR is developed in accordance with project & customer CM standards, processes, and procedures.
Defines system implementation approach and operational concept.
Ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with customer.
Develops and executes software unit and functional tests.
Supports customer System Integration activities.
Maintains subject matter expertise through the study of state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipments.
Supports preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs) for subcontracted services, aids identification of candidate supplier pool, assists evaluation of Request for Quote (RFQ) responses, contributes to selection of preferred supplier, and evaluates supplier deliverables as requested
The following skills are applicable:
Experience with collaborative software project tools such as Microsoft TFS, Rationale ClearCase/ClearQuest, DOORS, Subversion, CVS preferred.
Experience with software design (CASE) toolsets such as UML preferred.
Experience with real time embedded system using C/C++, Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS) (such as VxWorks), Windows/RHEL Linux-based software tools (such as CodeWarrior, IAR, Eclipse, Workbench), C#, .NET, Visual Basic, XML, Siemens Step 7 & Rockwell RSLogix 5000 a plus.
Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (CMMI, IEEE 12207 etc.) preferred.
Experience of Software Development Life Cycles (both traditional (waterfall, iterative, spiral, etc.) and agile experience relevant) preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio) at 2007 or above required.
Strong attention to software development best practices required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Self motivated & able to prioritize and lead multiple projects with limited oversight required.
High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Knowledge of electrical and electronic shipboard systems preferred.
Proven communication and social skills required.
Excellent writing skills and a demonstrated ability to develop written process documentation required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
