Configuration Manager

Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a Configuration Manager, to support our operations in Newport News, VA.
The Configuration Manager will be responsible for the following:
Help with the CM cross checks on currently software system.
Keeping track of the CM repository
Keeping track of what installs are run.
Audits of the system to make sure the system matches the hardware and software lists the program has for the system.
Provide back-up support for surge and relief of primary CM staff
Supports control of TeamForge
Process change requests
Performs CM builds for formal testing and delivery.
Ensures only approved changes are in CM build
The Configuration manager must have the following skills:
9 years of experience Configuration/Data Management
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, EE, Computer Information Science or Business Administration.
Adept PC skills (MS office - Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
c++, VB script, Java or other HOL programming experience
Experience w/ s/w library control tools & s/w change
request systems: ClearQuest
Experience customizing CM tools for program use, such as
ClearQuest
Experience on s/w development program performing
SCM activities/processes in DOD/MIL-STD environment
Experience working on program which utilized SEI CMMI
process areas
Projects a friendly, positive attitude and works cooperatively
in a multi-faceted environment; exhibits an ability and desire
to self-educate
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Active DOD Secret (or above) Clearance
Preferred
Qualifications:
Java programming experience
Experience with TeamForge
6 Sigma Experience
The Configuration Manager must meet the following
Qualifications:

Must have a Secret clearance
