Requirements:
The Competent Person must possess knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to provide gas free services aboard naval and other marine vessels. The Competent Person shall be qualified per the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1915.7 Competent Person.
Experience requires a minimum of five years in providing gas free services aboard naval and other marine vessels. Certification for performing gas free/ commpetent person services is a plus.
