Riverside Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a labor pool Cashier. This role works under the dual supervision of the Cafeteria/Coffee Shop supervisor and Manager. The Cashier performs duties relative to service excellence by demonstrating courteous and prompt service, line set-up, presentation, proper portioning, low-level cooking duties, accurate cash handling, and follows all HAACCP and sanitation guidelines as per departmental and RHS policies. This role may assist Supervisor in his/her absence when assigned to include scheduling of employees and training and orientation of new employees. The Cashier promotes and maintains safe work environment for staff as well as our customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Previous food service cashier experience preferred. Must be able to read and write in English.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
